Spaceman soft serve and frozen beverage machines use either a digital or analog control board to operate the machine.  Several machines utilize the same control board, and control boards have been obsoleted and replaced with direct replacements for older models.  This article outlines all of the control boards Spaceman sells and will guide you to selecting the correct control board for your machine.

Spaceman Control Boards

 

Spaceman has four types of control boards:

1. Frozen Beverage - Standard
2. Soft Serve – Standard (vertical)
3. Soft Serve – Horizontal
4. Soft Serve – Analog

Spaceman has had many iterations of control boards, however, we have generally kept all new versions fully backwards compatible with older models.  In some cases on much older machines, we do require that both the power board and control board be replaced at the same time.  For more information on legacy equipment (Serial numbers < 150000), please see the Soft Serve: Replacing Legacy Control Boards article

Soft Serve Models – Analog
Models: SM-6210, without -C in model name

Older versions of the model SM-6210 (without a -C in the model name) used an analog control board to control the machine.  There are two versions of this control board, please see below for more information.

Soft Serve Models – Digital
Models: All Soft Serve machines with the below digital interface.  
Note: This section does not include Heat Treat models, or models with a -B in the model name.

Original Control Boards (Serial Number 150000 to 219999, models without a -C in the model name)
The below control boards are the original part numbers installed on flat-front models with a serial number from 150000 to 219999.  These control boards have since been obsoleted and have a direct replacement V2.152 board below.  As soon as these parts are out of stock, the new part number will need to be purchased.

V2.152 Control Boards (Models with a -C in the model name, replaces obsolete boards above)
The V2.152 Control boards incorporate many feature updates and improvements and are a direct replacement for older models.  The primary change to these boards other than software is an update to the temperature probe connections.  Wire ferrules are no longer required to connect the temperature probes and a push-to-connect connector is used instead.
