Wall Mount Spinner Attachment Instructions

Introduction

These instructions are for installing a Hamilton Beach HMD300 Series Wall mount Single Spindle Mixer on a Spaceman machine. This spinner can be installed on the following models:

Soft Serve:      6236-C, 6236A-C, 6378-C and 6378A-C Models

Frozen Drink:  6650-CL, 6690-CL, 6695-CL-, and 6795-CL Models

The spinner can be installed on the front of the machine, under the top overhang, on either side of the freezing door anywhere you have open clearance of 16 1/2 X 4 Inches.   The approximate installation time is 45 minutes.

Required Hardware


  • ¹⁄₈“ thread  ½ inch long screws (X6) 
  • ¹⁄₈” inch Nuts (X6)
  • Washers (X6)
  • Lock Washers (X6)


Required Tools


  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Small adjustable wrench
  • Drill
  • Drill bit  ³⁄₁₆”

Warning: Spinner installation requires knowledge of moving parts and electrical. A certified service technician is highly recommended for installation. Inspect desired mounting location to ensure you do not damage wires or refrigerant lines during installation.




Instructions


  1. Find a suitable place to mount mixer on machine where drill holes and hardware will not hit any wiring or refrigerant lines
  2. Remove panel you wish to mount spinner on 
  3. Remove spinner from spinner mounting bracket
  4. Use spinner mounting bracket to Stencil in drill hole marks 
  5. Drill out holes for mounting
  6. Mount spinner on panel using hardware
  7. Install panel back into place
  8. Ensure spinner is secure and safe
