Air Chute Installation

Introduction

There are Three types of air chute designs Spaceman machines use; this article will assist in installing all three types. 

Warning: Be sure to use appropriate cut resistant hand PPE when handling panels

Required Tools

  • Set of metric Allen keys
  • Flat Head Screwdriver

Option A: Split Air Chute – Sliding type

Applies to Countertop Models

1. Split Air Chute consists of two parts: Air Chute and Air Chute Panel.

2. Replace existing panel with an air chute panel.

3. Align the sliding rails of the air chute with that of the side panel on the machine and slide down all the way.

Option B: Split Air Chute – Screw on

Applies to Countertop and Floor Models

1. Split Air Chute consists of two parts: Air Chute and Air Chute Panels.

2. Replace existing panels with air chute panels.

3. Align the screw holes on the air chute with rivnuts on the pillars, then insert the

screws through the air chute screw holes into the pillar rivnuts.

4. Ensure the air chute is flush against the machine panel. Tighten the screws through

the screw holes on the air chute with a screwdriver. Cover the screw holes on the air

chute with bolt hole cover.

Option C: One – Piece Air Chute

Applies to Countertop and Floor Models

1. One-piece Air Chute has the panels built in.

2. Remove all panels on the installation side.

3. Insert the screws directly into the rivnuts on the pillars, but do not tighten.

4. Fit the untightened screw heads into the large holes on the bottom of the keyhole

slots on the air chute.

5. Drop the air chute down so that the screws slide up into the upper slot of the key-

holes.

6. Tighten the screws through the screw holes on the air chute with a screwdriver.

Cover the screw holes on the air chute with bolt hole cover.
